2016 is over. Can you believe it?
Earlier this month we celebrated our first anniversary here at Mozzarella Bites (follow us on Facebook to be always up to date with our special occurrences!), and it’s now time for another event to be celebrated: a new year of adventures is about to begin!
And what better than writing a foodie-proof new year’s resolutions list to welcome 2017?
Mirko and me already wrote our list of things to accomplish in the new year, and I’m sure you’ve been thinking about what to add in yours too, my dear foodies.
So, here I give you 15 suggestions to complete your new year’s resolutions for 2017 – foodie edition!
New Year’s resolutions for foodies – to welcome a tasty 2017!
1 – Try a new recipe every week.
2 – Make pasta from scratch (why not these easy Potato Gnocchi?)
3 – Try a food or a new cuisine that scares you (have you seen our list of Gross foods from Sardinia?)
4 – Bake a cake for the ones you love at every special occasion.
5 -Do not eat too fried food. Bake, instead! (Have you seen this Lime and pink pepper breaded chicken?)
6 – Take your time to slow cook something. What about a perfect risotto?
7 – Stop buying basil pesto at the supermarket! Make it at home instead.
8 – Try a new pasta recipe every month.
9 – Start writing your favourite recipes on a notebook and decorate it.
10 -Brew coffee at home at weekends.
11 – Eat more vegetables. Vegetables are gorgeous. Vegetables are healthy! Check out these tasty Baked Aubergine sticks!
12 – Amaze your guests with a sweet and savoury recipe (Figs, goat cheese and prosciutto tarts here!)
13 – Next time you host a party, prepare your homemade drink, such as an Aperol Spritz aperitif!
14 – Try new combinations of ingredients to make your salads more tempting.
