|Canon EOS 600D – This is my current reflex, and I simply love it. There are newer models out there, but 600D rocks in terms of quality and price. Ilaria owns a Canon EOS Rebel SL1, which works better on higher ISO and it’s a bit lighter in terms of weight.|
|Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II – Probably one of the most famous and well-liked Canon lens ever. Great for food photography, street photography and portraits. And it is also cheap! If you have a higher budget go for the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM, otherwise use the standard Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III, will work anyway!|
|SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB– One of the fastest and reliable memory card in the market. You will realize how many shots you will take for the exact same plate… crazy. Speed and storage turn useful. I have two of them always with me during my trips.|
|Joby GorillaPod Flexible Tripod Kit – A tripod! Lovely support in plenty of situations. You don’t need a GorillaPod for food photography, but its flexibility is a must while travelling and taking pictures in any position. It is compatible with almost all reflex and cameras.|
|Toshiba Flash Air II Wireless 32GB SDHC – Ila has this wireless card so she can quickly transfer her beautiful pictures to her phone, without troubles. It’s useful, but it is not a must and you should check according to your mobile (some users experienced issues in pairing the two devices)|
|Bluehost – Our current hosting. Never a issue, customer service always ready, no downtime or slow bandwidth. So far, we are extremely happy about it.
For this price it’s a bargain! And you also have a tool to easy install your blog on WordPress!
|Foodie Pro Theme – StudioPress offers high quality WordPress themes and plugin, and its core framework – Genesis – is well known for being stable and fast.
Our theme is called Foodie Pro, and we simply love it!! Feel free to check all the others amazing layouts they offer.
